11:00 AM Athlete Briefing and Course Review

12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Packet Pickup

  • Waco Hilton - Room: Brazos A (new location for 2024)

Cancelled: 2:00 PM Waco TriClub Swim Practice at race swim exit (View Course Maps page)

  • NOTE: Waivers must be signed by all, which are provided by the Waco TriClub during the expo or at swim. The practice swim is in a designated area per agreement with the river authorities.

3:30 PM Athlete Briefing and Course Review

Athlete is responsible for having all gear set up by transition close time at 6am.

Please arrive early to avoid delays in body marking and bike check.

2024 - Swim has been cancelled:
Triathlon will now be a Bike/Run
Aquabike will now be a Bike only

4:45 AM Transition Opens
6:00 AM Transition Closes

6:15 AM All athletes be at their bike in transition for pre-race announcements.

6:30 AM Race begins with bike time trial start*

*TriWaco event team will send out athletes by rack beginning with Olympic athletes, continuing with sprint and try a tri. Athletes will go to mount line and begin the race.

11:30 AM Race Course Closes

The safety of our athletes is important to us! We will use a flag system below to communicate with athletes on the course. During the race, athletes are encouraged to check in with aid station personnel for more details and instructions.

    Heat Collapse Risk: Normal

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Normal Health & Fitness Levels: Normal

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Decreased Health & Fitness Levels: Normal

  • Yellow Flag

    Heat Collapse Risk: Elevated

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Normal Health & Fitness Levels: Prioritize Hydration

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Decreased Health & Fitness Levels: Reduce Intensity/Prioritize Hydration

  • Red Flag

    Heat Collapse Risk: High

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Normal Health & Fitness Levels: Reduce Intensity/Prioritize Hydration

    Suggested Race Intensity for Participants with Decreased Health & Fitness Levels: Consider Withdrawing from the Race
