The Annual TriWaco Events and Fees information is below, but did you know that Waco is the home of the first triathlon ever held in the state of Texas? The Waco Striders hosted the event in May 1980 with 24 men and one woman to compete in the Olympic distance at Lake Waco with the staging area at Speegleville Park. The event grew to 500 entries with a waiting list each year. The 12th Annual Waco Triathlon was in 1991. That was the last year for the triathlon until the new TriWaco in 2009. Many triathletes considered the Waco Triathlon the best in Texas, and we’re confident the Annual Electrolit TriWaco event will continue to grow in popularity.

Please note: Per USAT rules & regulations, all athletes must pick up their own packet.
Paratriathlon/PC Open divisions are available in Sprint and Olympic triathlon.
Elite/Pro option available for Olympic triathlon.
Clydesdale/Athena divisions are available for the Sprint and Olympic triathlon.

Online registration closes Friday, June 27th at 10PM. On-site registration begins at 12PM Saturday, June 29th at the expo.
Refund Policy
If you are registered for TriWaco and would like to make a change to your registration, there are several options. Please review the options and fees below.
REFUND
All registrations are non-refundable unless Fanshield race insurance is purchased with registration. Refunds are handled by FanShield and are subject to their insurance terms. .
TRANSFER
- Transfers include a transfer fee ($0) + registration price difference, if any.
- Transaction fees charged by the online registration provider cannot be refunded or transferred.
- USAT one-day license will be transferred to the new event.
- Price differences between events will not be refunded if transferring to a shorter distance.
- Transfers are not available after 6/28/2025 @ 3PM
